How hard would it be to implement everyone getting a kill mail as long as they are on the kill instead of just the final blow.
The reason I'm asking is because if the final blow pilot or the pilot that lost the ship does not have an API Key on zKillboard then the kill does not show up unless you manually post it and not everyone post's there mail. Also EVE-Kill pulls from zKillboard and a lot of people only check pilot's kills via EVE-Kill, so a lot won't show up on that site because the final blow pilot or pilot killed does not have a zkillboard API.
I have talked to some 3rd party site owners and have agreed on the general idea that along as anyone on the kill got a kill mail attached to their API then the problem described above would be fixed.
This is a technology I do not understand but was just speaking in way's that I think it work's. Anyone have input?

Can you provide some feedback to why you are against it? Seems like if this was implemented then it would be a great addition to those who want it and a neutral feature to those who could care less but I don't see how you could be against it. |

Yea I'm not too worried about getting the actual kill mail in game, although that would be nice, but I like people to be able to see what kills I have been on. Like I said, I don't like having to rely on the final blow pilot or the pilot that lost the ship to have an API registered with a 3rd party site, which is my main point. Having the kill associated with your API even if your not the final blow is what i would like to see achieved. |
